La Laguna
A UNESCO World Heritage university city in the north of Tenerife
San Cristóbal de La Laguna has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999 and is home to the University of La Laguna. Its historic centre is compact and walkable, and the tram links it with Santa Cruz, the island's capital. Tenerife is Spain's second destination for Erasmus+ courses after Barcelona (European Commission mobility data, 2024).
Getting there
Tenerife North airport (TFN) is in La Laguna itself. Tenerife South (TFS) receives most international flights and is around an hour away by road.

Stay in or near the historic centre and you can walk to the course. Accommodation is never included in the course fee (Quality Standards): we suggest options with their own prices.
